Session Title: What’s New at the Agency?
Speaker: Deputy William Grell
William H. Grell was appointed as the Interim Workers’ Compensation Commissioner following the retirement of Commissioner Joe Cortese. Bill retains his designation as a Deputy Workers’ Compensation Commissioner, a position he has held since December 2012. He intends to return to his deputy role once a permanent Commissioner is appointed by the governor. Prior to starting with the Iowa Division of Workers’ Compensation, Bill was in private practice for 15 years. Bill is married to his beautiful wife, Kim, and is the proud father of 5 children.
